Compact and portable, our system is easy to set up and will accept signs up to 48" x 48". Easy to disassemble and store, just unlock steel locking pin from post and remove from base. All base units have two recessed handles for easy transport and are stackable for easy storage.

Made with recycled products, our 40 lb. base units have a smaller footprint then barrels, no additional ballast required makes our temporary traffic sign stand the most stable and durable in the industry. Made in the United States.

Colors, Reflectors & Installation Tools

USB 400 & USB 500 guide posts markers are manufactured in two styles, five standard colors – white, yellow, and gray – with additional colors available for utility marking applications. We offer four grades of reflective sheeting – Engineer, High Intensity (HIP), Reflexite and Diamond Grades – and each post can be made reflective on one or both sides. Informational decals are available by special order. Both posts offer an optional plastic or steel anchor, that provides for excellent retention. Both manual and power tools are available for quick and easy installation.

Construction: All delineator posts are manufactured in the U.S.A. The posts shall be made with a minimum of 5% post-consumer, engineered recycled thermoplastic, with the total recycled content being greater than 50%. Post will be modified with virgin modifiers, pigments and UV stabilizers for outdoor weather-ability. Posts shall be one color plastic throughout and have a solid plastic profile without fillers.

Length: Post shall be at specified length plus or minus .250" (6.35 mm).

Reflective Sheeting: Shall be of a specified grade and size affixed to the post by the manufacturer.

FG 95 Anchor: The plastic anchor shall meet the same physical properties as delineator posts, shall be 2.0" (50.8 mm) in length, and of sufficient strength so as to resist pull out in multiple high speed impacts. Anchors shall be placed in slots at the bottom tip of posts prior to installation.

FG 96 Steel Anchor: The steel anchor unit shall be a hot rolled rail steel or new billet steel meeting the physical requirements of ASTM A499 and the chemical requirements of ASTM A1.

Recyclable/Returnable: Flexible posts will be recyclable by the manufacturer. Posts that become damaged under normal use will be returned to the manufacturer, reground then reused to make other delineation products. The manufacturer will offer credit toward the next purchase when products are returned.

Poly-Urethane – the Material of Choice:

The USB 300 Channelizer post are made from poly-urethane, the toughest flexible polymer on the market today. Poly-urethane provides high tensile and elongation properties, with superior resistance to tearing and puncture. The polymer maintains its flexibility to -50° F, and its toughness during exposure to fuels, oils and grease. Polyurethane is simply the material of choice for “can’t fail” applications.

Every day pedestrians are at risk when crossing the street. There are approximately 5,000 pedestrian deaths per year in the United States. This is an alarming problem that needs to be addressed with durable, low cost safety solutions.

There is a need for traffic safety products designed to quickly grab a motorist s attention and alert them of pedestrians in the crosswalk. In-street pedestrian crossing signs are most effective when used during peak pedestrian use. For example, if being used in a school cross walk, the most effective times for the system to be in the roadway would be during school commute times. The Green Cross system is most effective on unsignalized low-speed two-lane streets. The mobility of the Green Cross system allows it to be taken in and out of the street during the school day enhancing the effectiveness of the system.

Green Cross Bases:
Within the Green Cross system there are several mounting options for different conditions. All bases are designed to withstand the rigors of the field including vehicle impacts and extreme weather conditions. Our 10#, 35# "Banana" and 40# "Yeti" bases are environmental friendly, constructed of recycled rubber tire and polymer binders.

FG 300 Base:
The 300 base is for fixed installations where the post and base will remain on the road surface for an extended period of time. Bases are constructed of a UV-stable high-impact plastic. Safety posts are mounted to the base with two nylon locking pins. Posts are secured to the roadway with either epoxy or bolts.

FG 300 10# Round Portable Base:
The 10# rubber base is for use in situations where the base and post are moved on and off the road surface repeatedly. This base is lighter weight and can be moved easily.

FG 300 35# "Banana" Portable Base:
A rubber base for demanding applications; it has the weight to support the larger crosswalk signs. For an added convenience the 35# base features a recessed handle, which makes picking up and moving it a snap. Bases also nest together for easy storage during transport.

"Yeti" 40# Portable Base:
The Yeti is a heavy duty portable base for your most challenging crosswalk locations. It will stand up to high winds and the larger crosswalk signs. The Yeti bases snap together for simplified storage and the molded in handles make transport a snap.

In-Street Pedestrian Crossing signs are used to remind drivers of laws regarding right of way. These signs can be mounted on our Model FG 342 EFX posts or X-Tube Upright and placed in the street utilizing either our fixed, 20# hex or 35# "Banana" or 40# "Yeti" base.

Both signs meet the standards of the 2003 MUTCD Yield to Pedestrian (R1-6) or the Stop for Pedestrian (R1-6A). These signs may be used at un-signalized school crossings; if an island is available they should be placed on the island.

Our Flexible Signs are constructed of flexible prismatic vinyl with stays at the top and bottom for support. Our Rigid Signs are constructed of durable UHMW plastic and utilize cube corner prismatic sheeting.

This is our toughest post; designed to support larger signs. This post was created to stand up to your most challenging locations and provide the greatest return on investment. The EFX posts are offered in lengths of 42" and 48" and in the following colors: fluorescent yellow green, yellow, orange, red, blue, green, brown and black.

STATE LAW YIELD FOR PEDESTRIAN (R1-6) High Intensity Sheeting (HIP) with ground mount base are designed for in-street use at non signalized crosswalks. Signs have an overall height of 47" with a panel size of 12"x36". Back-to-back panels are sheeted with 3M™ High Intensity sheeting and is MUTCD, state DOT and NCHRP 350 approved.

All signs are equipped with an anti-twist feature to keep the panels properly aligned. Post are flexible polyethylene plastic, resistant to UV, ozone and hydrocarbons.
